I always thought that the time before Christmas and its anticipation is more exciting than the day itself. As a kid, I loved advent, counting down the days to Christmas, the weeks of baking, the secrecy, wondering about presents plus all the festive music and the chocolate advent calendars.

It doesn?t always have to be a chocolate advent calendar, though. I am sure your kids will love the Tree Advent Calendar, which is a bit different. It is made of beautiful fabric and can be hung up like a wall hanging. There are 24 pockets underneath the Christmas tree design with 24 little, colorful fabric pieces, such as an angel, drum, presents, snowman, stocking, teddy bear and other toys. Each ornament has a piece of velcro on the back to allow little children to stick it onto the Christmas tree as decorations. By the 24 December, the Christmas tree will be beautifully decorated with all the different ornaments. After Christmas, you can pack the calendar away for reuse the year after.

Overall, I think this is a very thoughtful gift that you and your kids will enjoy year after year to count down the days until Christmas.
